1、 Prepare

1. Select location

The planting place of Michelia purpurea should be selected in the nursery with relatively flat ground. 2. Select raw materials

For the female parent of cutting, of course, we should choose strong and disease-free purple Michelia branches. If possible, it is best to use annual branches, which can help the cutting work in the future. We should carry out the cutting of Zihua Michelia in spring or autumn. There should be a distance of three to five centimeters between each cutting branch, so as to provide space for their growth. The leaves left on the branches should face the same direction and must not overlap at the same time. After the branches are inserted into the soil, press them tightly with tools to ensure that there is no gap in the middle. After the above work is finished, pour a lot of water on the branches to ensure thorough watering

2. Subsequent management

After cutting all the branches, build a 50cm high shed on the bed surface. Cover the shed with a thin film and seal it. This can ensure the humidity and temperature during the growth of Michelia Zihua. Flower friends should also pay attention to the changes of moisture and temperature in the shed and adjust them in time
