1、 Planting conditions

① Time: planting should be from September to October in autumn

② Soil: loam, rotten leaf soil and river sand mixed in equal quantities

③ Temperature: 18-20 ℃

2、 Planting method

1. Soak the seeds in cold water for about 2-30 hours before sowing, and then soak the seeds in cold water for about 3 hours

2. Planting steps:

① Sowing: first select a shallow basin or shallow box with a small hole at the bottom, sow the seeds in the container at a distance of 1.5-2CM, and then lay a layer of 0.5-1cm thin soil

② Water absorption: place the flowerpot on the tray, add water to the tray, soak the water in this way, and cover the glass cover above the container

③ Germination: after about 30-40 days of germination, remove the glass cover in time and place the plant in a sunny and ventilated environment

④ Transplanting: after 10-11 weeks, transplant the small plants to the soil with good air permeability, so that the roots are just covered by the soil and the small bulbs are exposed, and apply nitrogen fertilizer appropriately

3、 Key points of maintenance

Keep the soil moist, but do not accumulate water at the root; Fertilization once every 10 days, less or no nitrogen fertilizer at flowering stage
