1、 Preparatory work

There are not many things to prepare for growing Flammulina velutipes by yourself. Mix the cottonseed shell, hydrated lime and sawdust with water evenly, put them into the plastic bag and keep them as nourishment. Pinch the water content with your hand to ensure that water can seep out but not form water flow. Select high-quality strains and plastic bags to be used, wrap the strains in plastic bags, add nutrients, place them in boxes paved with newspapers, and cover them with transparent bags

2、 Keep moisture

When Flammulina velutipes appears, place the cultivated cartons at 10 to 18 degrees Celsius and spray water every other period of time. Pay attention not to spray it directly on Flammulina velutipes, but only on the surrounding newspapers, so as to ensure a humid environment

3、 Picking

It is observed that when the cap of Flammulina velutipes reaches about 1 cm and the height is about 10 cm, it can be picked and eaten
