Generally, there are two situations for transplanting water cultured green pineapple: transplanting soil culture into water for maintenance, or transplanting water culture into pot. The operation methods for these two situations are as follows:
1、 Soil culture to hydroponic culture
After a period of maintenance, a black node will appear on the stout stem of soil cultured green pineapple. That is what we often call Qi rooting. Use the sterilized scissors to cut a section of stem along the air root. The cutting mouth is smooth, which is conducive to rooting, maintain a 45 degree oblique mouth, and increase the contact area between the plant and the water surface p>
Prepare a transparent container, add water, and insert the cut branches of green pineapple into the water. The air roots should be submerged in the water. Note that during hydroponic culture, some rooting water can be added to the water, but the leaves must not be left in the water, otherwise the leaves will rot in the water and affect the water quality. Generally, change the water once every two or three days. After the plants grow roots and survive stably, change the water ten days later. Pay attention not to rot the roots p>
You can also wash the soil from the roots after taking off the pot and put it into clean water for hydroponic culture. However, the survival rate is not as good as pruning hydroponic culture, and the growth momentum is not as good as that in water, because the roots are immersed in water, the growth environment is different from that in pot culture, and it is easy to rot and die in the adaptation stage p>
2、 Water culture to soil culture
It is not easy for the green pineapple raised in water to be transplanted into the soil. In the process of operation, it is necessary to ensure the health and integrity of the roots. Take the plants out of the water, trim the rotten roots with sterilized scissors, thinly cut the messy and dense roots, dry them in a cool and ventilated place, and plant them in the soil half an hour later p>
When planting, select breathable and sparse humus soil and add an appropriate amount of base fertilizer. After planting, put the flowerpot on the ground, and then pour it with water for one time. There is no need to add fertilizer in the previous month. After growing new leaves, it can be maintained normally p>
