1、 Soil

For the soil in the flowerpot, it is recommended to select the medium with good water permeability and nutritious river mud and pond mud. A layer of stones and small bricks can be discharged at the bottom of the flowerpot to play the role of water permeability

2、 Illumination

It prefers bright places and is not cold resistant. It can be directly exposed to the sun in spring, autumn and summer. In summer, the sun is too strong and needs proper shading

3、 Temperature

It is very cold intolerant, and its growth environment is required to be between 15 ℃ - 20 ℃. It should be moved indoors for maintenance in winter

4、 Watering

It likes neutral water. The water given should not have too strong acid and alkali. Its origin is in the desert of South America, so it is relatively drought resistant. Watering can't be too much, which will bring no harm. If there is water in the basin, it will easily lead to root rot

5、 Fertilization

It does not have very strict requirements for fertilizer. It can be applied once a month during the growth period, and appropriate fertilization in the flowering season can promote flowering

6、 Precautions

Jin Qilin can change the basin once every 1-2 years. When changing the basin, you need to clean the loam on the root, then trim the root system, and keep the basin soil moist after planting in the basin. First put Jin Qilin indoors for about 10 days, and then move it outdoors
