1、 What do you look like

1. Stem: Astragalus membranaceus is a perennial herb with a height of about 50-100 cm. The stem is relatively thick and upright, with black or white villous hair distributed on it, branches on the upper part and fine edges on the edge

2. Leaves: generally, there are 13-27 small leaves on the compound leaves, about 5-10cm long, and the petiole part is about 0.5-1cm long. The color above is green, and the bottom is covered with white pubescence

3. Flowers: racemes are densely distributed, with 10-20 flowers on them. The flower color is yellow or light yellow, the flower shape is bell shaped, and the flowering period is from June to August

4. Pod: the pod is membranous, with a length of about 20-30 mm and a width of about 8-12 mm. There are spikes on the top, and the fruit period is from July to September

2、 Living environment

It likes to grow in cool places. The growth environment is suitable for sunny mountainous areas. It has strong adaptability and can withstand cold and drought, but it is afraid of extreme heat and water logging. Therefore, in summer, we should pay attention to the change of temperature and shade. The application of water does not need too much, and we must not cause too much water logging. It is suitable for growing in deep sandy loam, not in strong saline alkali soil, otherwise its growth will become weak
