1、 Will it bloom
Planting peony in spring is basically difficult to blossom. As the saying goes: divide the peony on the spring equinox and don't blossom until you are old. The transplanting of Paeonia lactiflora in spring germination period will cause great damage to the plant, resulting in nutrient loss and difficult to preserve. However, before and after the Spring Festival, peony has not yet sprouted and can still be transplanted p>
2、 Planting skills
1. Planting time: the planting time is generally in autumn, and it is appropriate from late September to early October. Separate planting in other seasons will have a negative impact on its growth, resulting in its non flowering and even difficult to survive p>
2. Old plant treatment: 3-4-year-old plants are generally selected. After digging out the root, put the root upward, shake off some of the old soil, and then cut it along the trend of the root. Each plant should bring 4-5 buds. Cut off some thick roots and dry them for 1-2 days p>
3. Separate planting: when the wound of the ramet is dry, it can be replanted. When planting, the bud top shall not exceed 5cm under the soil, otherwise it is not conducive to germination. Do not be too shallow, otherwise it is easy to frostbite and reduce flowering. The covering soil is compacted and then poured with water p>
4. Slow seedling maintenance: pay attention to maintenance after separate planting. Put it in a cool and ventilated place to increase the light appropriately, but avoid exposure. Do not water too much and keep the soil dry. Do not apply fertilizer, which is bad for its germination p>
