1. Growth period: Rhododendron has two growth periods. One is spring. At this time, rotten cake fertilizer is used for fertilization, which is applied 3-4 times a month. It must be fully diluted before fertilization. After autumn, it enters the second growth period. At this time, the flower bud differentiation is cut off. It is necessary to apply a certain amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. Water the next day after fertilization to avoid burning the roots

2. Pre flowering stage: provide sufficient nutrients for Rhododendron in the pre flowering stage. At this time, the fertilization is mainly phosphorus fertilizer, and a certain amount of potassium fertilizer can be added. Less or no nitrogen fertilizer will hinder flowering

3. Late flowering: nitrogen fertilizer should be supplemented immediately after flowering. At this time, the plant is lack of nutrients. Nitrogen fertilizer should be applied every 10 days, which is more beneficial to the growth of branches and leaves. From August to October, a certain amount of phosphorus fertilizer should be added and applied once every half a month, which is very helpful for flowering in the second year
