1、 How to water
Peony flowers are sensitive to water. Too much water can easily cause the root to be submerged, hinder its breathing, breed bacteria and lead to decay. Less watering will lead to poor plant growth, yellow and dry leaves. So we must control the amount of water and water it when the soil surface is dry. Generally, more water is poured in summer and less in winter p>
2、 Precautions
1. Water quality requirements: when watering peonies, river water must be selected instead of tap water. Chlorine in tap water is not good for its growth. It can be dried for a few days and then reused after the chlorine volatilizes p>
2. Control water temperature: peony has good cold resistance, but it is easy to frostbite its roots when watered with water with low temperature. Therefore, to control the water temperature, first put the water indoors and pour it after its temperature is close to the room temperature p>
3. Water spray cooling: peony is more suitable to grow in a dry environment, but if the temperature is too high, water spray cooling can be used. Fill a watering can with clean water and spray it on the leaves. Water should not be sprayed too much to avoid breeding bacteria due to humidity p>
4. Ponding treatment: peony is afraid of being wet. Once ponding in the flowerpot is easy to cause it to wither and die. Therefore, the accumulated water should be discharged in time, and the soil should be loosened appropriately to accelerate the evaporation of water. If the ponding lasts for a long time, it may lead to root rot. It is necessary to remove the plant from the pot and trim the rotten roots. After that, it was soaked in carbendazim solution and replanted after disinfection p>
