1、 Sprout in a few months
Begonia flowers generally germinate in early spring, about February to March. If the temperature is not high enough or the light is not enough, the germination time may be delayed, but it is usually in spring. In addition, if the root is injured due to pot change or transplanting, it may not germinate p>
2、 What if you don't sprout
1. Raise the temperature: if you want the Begonia flower to germinate, you should provide it with a suitable temperature. It grows well in the environment of 20-25 ℃, but the temperature during germination can be slightly lower than this. If the temperature drops suddenly, we should also take appropriate precautions to avoid affecting its growth p>
2. Increase light: the long-term overcast environment is unfavorable to the germination of Begonia flowers, so it needs to be properly exposed to light. The sunshine in spring is not strong. You can put the plants in the sunny place. But if the temperature is too low, the light should be kept warm at the same time p>
3. Control watering: proper water control is also conducive to the growth of new buds. In winter and spring, watering should not be too much before new buds grow. Wait until the basin soil is dry before pouring, which can effectively control the water to prevent ponding from flooding the root p>
4. Proper pruning: if the branches and leaves of Begonia flowers are too dense and the nutrients stored by themselves are not enough to germinate, they need to be pruned properly. Cut off dense branches, dead branches and Cross branches to reduce nutrient consumption and promote germination p>
