1、 Soil conditions
1. Soft: Although fleshy, mostly growing in the sand, it prefers soft soil. Sandy soil is unfavorable for its rooting. All seedlings must be planted in loose soil, which can greatly improve its survival rate p>
2. Drainage: meat itself has a certain water storage capacity, and the root does not absorb much water. Therefore, the soil must have good drainage to avoid long-term immersion of water in the root and inhibit its respiration p>
3. Nutrition: Although fertilizer can be used to supplement nutrients for meat, the base fertilizer in the soil can provide nutrition continuously and effectively. For meat, it can keep its healthy growth for a long time p>
4. Acidity: most meat prefer a weak acidic environment, but they are not resistant to salt and alkali. Therefore, it can be planted in acidic soil, and the pH of soil can be improved by watering ferrous sulfate solution p>
2、 Basin soil preparation
In case of fleshy seedlings, peat soil and river sand should be mixed in a proportion of about 6:4. Perlite and ceramsite can be used to replace some sand, but the overall proportion cannot be changed. If it is an adult plant for more than two years, the ratio of the two should be reversed, with less peat soil and more sand. With the growth of plants, the proportion of large particle media such as sand can gradually increase, but a little peat soil should provide nutrients p>
