1、 Soil
Witch Hazel is not strict on soil conditions. It can grow in acidic and neutral soil, but it grows best in loose, fertile and well drained sandy soil. During planting, river sand, garden soil and rotten leaf soil can be used, and then some base fertilizer can be added to prepare its nutrient soil p>
2、 Illumination
It is suitable for growing in places with sufficient light and can also grow in semi shade conditions. It is recommended to place it on the balcony or in a place with sufficient outdoor light for maintenance p>
3、 Temperature
It grows best in a warm environment, but it is extremely cold resistant. Its best growth temperature in a year is 15-25 ℃, and appropriate shading and cooling treatment should be carried out during the high temperature period in summer. There is no need for special management in winter. When the temperature is lower than - 10 ℃, some heat preservation treatment can be properly done to avoid affecting the normal growth of plants p>
4、 Watering
It grows best in a humid environment. Generally, it needs to be watered immediately when the soil is dry. During summer drought, water can be poured in the morning and evening. At ordinary times, water can be poured once every 2-3 days. Do not water frequently in winter. Generally, water once in 5-7 days p>
5、 Fertilization
It prefers fertilizer. In the early stage of growth, some organic fertilizer can be applied to supplement the nutrients of the soil. Some phosphorus and potassium fertilizer can be applied during the growth period, which is more conducive to the growth of plants p>
