Lotus is a plant of the genus lotus in the lotus family. It is one of the top ten famous flowers in China and the national flower of India and Vietnam p>
Lotus structure: lotus is composed of roots, leaves, flowers and lotus seeds. Its rhizome is horizontal, its internodes are expanded, and there are whisker shaped adventitious roots at the lower part. Its leaves are round and green. Its flowers grow on the top of branches and leaves, usually solitary, with rich colors, such as pink, white, red and so on. After flowering, it will bear oval or oval nuts with lotus seeds p>
Growth process: after the lotus root buried in the pond germinates in the mud, the lotus leaf will slowly emerge from the water. At the root of its stem, the flower bud of lotus will be drawn out. When the bud grows out of the water, it will bloom slowly at the flowering stage. When the flowering period is over, its petals will gradually wither and its seeds will be exposed p>
Lotus flower language: "out of the mud without dyeing, clean the ripples without demons", refers to the noble, faithful, innocent and independent quality of lotus. The flower language of different kinds of lotus is also different. Lotus flowers usually bloom from June to September every year. Because of different climate and varieties, there will be some differences in the flowering time of lotus before and after. For example, in the South and areas where the temperature rises earlier, the lotus flowering time will be earlier, while in the north and some areas where the temperature rises slowly, the lotus flowering will be relatively delayed. But under normal circumstances, July to August is the peak flowering period of lotus, during which the ornamental value of lotus will be relatively high p>
