1、 Can I get some sun
Of course, Clivia can bask in the sun. It is only afraid of high temperature and strong light, but when the light is soft, proper basking in the sun will help the plant carry out photosynthesis, produce nutrients and bloom. However, the light time should be strictly controlled. If the light time is too long, it will often inhibit the formation of flower buds, which will delay the flowering period of plants p>
2、 Like yin or Yang
Clivia neither likes Yin nor Yang. It prefers to grow in a semi Yin environment. If the environment is too dark, the plant will not be able to synthesize enough nutrients due to insufficient light, and will lead to its overgrowth. If the light is too strong or the sun is too long, the flowering period of the plant will also be shortened p>
3、 Lighting requirements
1. Phototropism: the leaves of Clivia have phototropism and tend to grow in the direction of light. Therefore, we must pay attention to the placement position to avoid that the plant will grow only to one side and look very ugly. Usually, its leaves are placed in the east-west direction, and the basin should be turned once every half a month, turning 180 °, so that the other side can also receive light p>
2. Scattered light: Clivia is afraid of strong light, but it also needs appropriate light for growth. Therefore, it needs to provide sufficient scattered light and put it in a bright place indoors. When the temperature is not high and the light is soft, you can put it in the sunny place. At noon, you must take it away in time to avoid strong light exposure p>
3. Control duration: as mentioned above, the flowering of Clivia will be affected by light for a long time, so we must pay attention to controlling the duration of light. As a short day plant, in spring and autumn, the time of receiving light is about 6-8 hours. The light in summer is too strong. Generally, it can be dried for two hours in the morning p>
