1、 Breeding method

1. Plant material: Xingdou is suitable for growing in soft and breathable soil. When raising it, it is recommended to use the plant material mixed with red jade soil, Maifan stone and rotten leaf soil. The planting material shall be renewed every 1-2 years

2. Temperature: it likes a warm and hot environment and is not very resistant to cold. At ordinary times, it is recommended to control the temperature within 18-28 ℃. In winter, pay attention to keep it warm and don't let the temperature around it be lower than 7 ℃

3. Watering: it likes the slightly dry growth environment, but it doesn't like the growth environment without water for a long time. When raising it, it needs to be watered every 3-4 days to keep a small amount of water in its plant material for its growth

4. Fertilization: its growth does not need a lot of nutrients. Usually, it can be topdressed every 2-3 months. If the plant material fertility is very high, it can be fertilized every 4-6 months

2、 Basin selection suggestions

When planting star pocket, it is recommended to use flowerpots with moderate size and depth, but good air permeability and drainage capacity. Generally speaking, for small and medium-sized plants, flowerpots with a depth of about 8-10cm are sufficient. Slightly larger plants can be grown in deeper pots. The flowerpot used needs to be provided with a bottom hole, which is convenient for drainage and can reduce the probability of rotten roots
