Soil: the cultivation of hemlock requires deep, fertile, well drained acidic or neutral soil. Light: it likes shade and is suitable for planting in cool and ventilated places. Temperature: the most suitable growth temperature is 15-23 ℃, which can not be lower than 8 ℃ in winter. Watering: it likes a humid environment. It can be watered every morning or evening in summer, 2-3 days in spring and autumn and 5-7 days in winter. Fertilization: it is more fertilizer resistant and needs topdressing in time during breeding.

1、 Soil

Hemlock is suitable for growing in deep, fertile and well drained sandy soil. It likes acidic or weak neutral soil environment. In the breeding process, some river sand and black mountain mud can be added to make it grow better

2、 Illumination

It likes shade and needs appropriate light in the later stage of growth. It is suitable for planting in a well ventilated and backlit place. When the light is strong in summer, appropriate shading is required

3、 Temperature

It is suitable for growing in a warm and cool climate. The most suitable growth temperature in a year is 15-23 ℃ and can not be lower than 8 ℃ in winter. During the high temperature period in summer, proper shading and cooling measures shall be taken. During the low temperature period in winter, keep warm and help it survive the winter safely

4、 Watering

It likes a humid environment. It must be watered thoroughly every time to keep it moist all the time. In summer, water once every morning or evening, and once every 2-3 days in spring and autumn. Winter should be extended appropriately, and water should be poured every 5-7 days

5、 Fertilization

It is more fertilizer resistant. In the early stage of growth, 0.5% urea is applied once a half month. In the peak growth period, after watering, compound fertilizer and plant ash shall be applied. Fertilization should be stopped at the later stage of growth, and 0.3% - 0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution can be sprayed once to promote the lignification of seedlings, so as to survive the winter safely
