1、 Soil

In fact, jiutou grass does not have high requirements for soil. Generally, it is OK to use loose and well drained soil. Among them, sandy soil is the most conducive to its growth

2、 Illumination

It is suitable for growing in medium light conditions. Indoors, it can be placed in a place not far from the balcony and with less strong light for breeding. It can be cultured outdoors in the shade of trees. It must not be exposed to direct sunlight, otherwise it is not conducive to its growth

3、 Temperature

It likes a warm environment. It's best to control the temperature at 15-25 ℃ in summer and spring and autumn, and shade appropriately in summer. The temperature in winter is not lower than 10 ℃. It's best to breed it indoors, so it will grow better

4、 Watering

It likes a humid environment. It can be watered once every 3-4 days in spring and autumn. Be careful not to accumulate water. In summer, water can be poured every 2 days, preferably in the morning or evening. It is OK to water once in 5-7 days in winter, but you can't pour too much at a time to prevent root rot

5、 Precautions

1. Watering in winter: water once every 5-7 days. The amount of water should not be too much, and there must be no ponding

2. Prevention and control of root rot: drainage shall be done well. It is recommended to use sandy soil with good drainage during planting, and carbendazim can be used to disinfect the soil before planting
