1、 Soil

Verbena lanceolata is not very demanding on soil, but it needs to be planted in soil with good ventilation and drainage performance. Avoid continuous cropping, otherwise it will lead to the degradation and slow growth of varieties and affect their ornamental value

2、 Temperature

It likes a warm environment. 20-30 ℃ is the most suitable temperature for its growth. It is not resistant to cold and grows slowly below 10 ℃. Breeding in winter shall be conducted in the greenhouse, and the minimum cultivation temperature shall not be lower than 0 ℃

3、 Illumination

It needs all day light and cannot grow under shading conditions. Cultivation in semi sunshine or shaded areas will lead to poor growth and slow growth

4、 Fertilization

Topdressing shall be carried out in time according to its growth condition. The compost can be prepared according to the ratio of rotten manure to cake manure, which can also be diluted according to the ratio of about 1:20

5、 Watering

It can withstand drought, but a relatively humid environment is conducive to its health. At the initial stage of breeding, the same amount of water needs to be poured. Daily watering shall be controlled once every 4-5 days, and the soil shall not be too wet. Pay attention to drainage during rainy season to prevent rotten roots from dying
