1、 Basin changing time

The proper time should be selected for changing the pots of azalea, and it is not allowed to change the pots blindly. If you want to change pots, it is recommended to choose spring or autumn. These two times are its growing season. If you change pots, it is easier to survive. You can't change the basin every two years. If the pots are not changed for a long time, the soil will harden, nutrients will be lacking, and there is insufficient space in the flowerpot, which will affect the normal growth of Rhododendron

1. Stop watering: stop watering two days before you want to change the pot, because it is not easy to take off the pot when the soil is wet, and it will be better to take off the pot when the soil is dry, and it is not easy to hurt the root

2. Select pot soil: when changing pots, select a slightly larger pot, so that its root system can be better extended. The soil should also have enough air permeability and better drainage capacity, otherwise it will make the root system of the plant unable to breathe and easy to produce ponding

3. Pruning: when changing pots, attention should be paid to pruning roots. Diseased and withered roots should be cut off. Under normal circumstances, roots with poor growth should be cut off. After root pruning, disinfect it to avoid infection when you go to the basin

4. Ventilation: after changing the basin, pay attention to maintain ventilation. First put it in a cool environment and wait for it to take the basin slowly. Only after it takes the basin can it see the sun slowly, but don't be exposed to strong light
