1、 Whether fertilizer can be applied
The growth of Rhododendron will stop slowly or temporarily in the low temperature environment. Therefore, at this time, the demand for fertilizer is not high, so as long as it is not particularly lack of fertilizer, there is no need to fertilize it in winter. But before winter, just fertilize it once. If fertilizer is still applied in winter, the leaves are easy to wither or turn yellow, so you can't apply fertilizer for it p>
2、 What happens when the leaves fall
If the concentration of fertilizer is too high, the Rhododendron will burn if it doesn't like it. Once the root of the plant decays, it cannot transport nutrition and water to the leaves, and the leaves will fall off over a long time p>
If leaves fall off, fertilization should be stopped temporarily. Then pour more water into the soil, and the fertilizer in the soil will be discharged with the water, and then put it in a place with air circulation. If the fertilizer cannot be discharged, take out the plants and replace the original soil. If the root system decays, trim it properly, but disinfect it before putting it into the pot p>
3、 Precautions
When fertilizing Rhododendron, thin fertilizer should be used. Fertilizer with too high concentration should not be applied, and fertilizer should not be too much. Fertilization times should not be too frequent. Generally, it is OK to apply fertilizer once in about 10 days of the growing season p>
