The purpose of topping is to grow lateral buds. Just keep 2 or 3 lateral branches on each side. Then, when the lateral branches grow to 1.5m-2cm high, top the lateral branches, so that they will grow better

When topping, it is also necessary to properly trim other branches, and cut off the branches with poor growth status and cross growth, which is also helpful for its subsequent results. Note that the tools used for topping and pruning shall be clean, and the tools with germs shall not be used

When watering after topping, do not pour water on the topping position, but pour it into the soil as much as possible. Topping can help the plant grow more lateral branches, make the plant look fuller and help it bloom
