1. Split lotus root: split lotus root propagation is easy to operate. It can be carried out from March to April in spring. First, prepare appropriate containers, shallow containers, and prepare appropriate substrates. You can directly use pond mud or add water to soil to mix into mud. Prepare the seed lotus root, take it out, properly treat and trim the seed lotus root, and then rinse it in clean water. Holding the top of the lotus root in one hand, insert it obliquely into the matrix at a 20 degree angle. It doesn't need to be too deep. The depth of small varieties is about 5cm and that of large lotus is about 10cm. After planting, there is no need to water first. After the soil is dry, water is supplied appropriately. As the temperature rises, the leaves grow, and water is gradually added to the container

2. Sowing: select the seeds of lotus, cut off the hard shell, then soak them in warm water and wait for a period of time to germinate. Prepare a suitable substrate, sow the germinated lotus seeds, add water slowly to make the lotus leaves protrude from the water surface, pay attention to maintenance, do not see strong light at the beginning, and keep the water quality clean

The flowering time of lotus is in summer, that is, it can usher in the flowering period from June to September, and the flowering period lasts for a long time
