Clean mango kernel

Scrape off the remaining yellow pulp with a fruit knife, clean it and dry it in a dry and ventilated place. Two days later, it becomes the image in the figure below. The outside is off white, which is very different from the pulp.

Cut mango core

Use sharp scissors to cut from the edge of the core, be careful not to cut your hand, and then peel off the shell.

Remove the seeds

Peel it off and you can see the mango seeds inside ~ take out the seeds.

Peel off the film

Remove the brown film on the seed surface with a knife. Be careful in this step ~ don't hurt the seeds. Remove the film and soak the mango seeds in water. Change the water every day to clear the impurities.

Seed soaking and germination

After 4 days, the soaked seeds generally begin to germinate and can be planted at this time.

If you haven't sprouted yet, you can soak for a few more days, but the soaking time can't be too long. It's better to soak for 4 ~ 7 days, otherwise the seeds will rot.

During soaking, the seeds will gradually turn light yellow green.

Grow mango

Select a relatively high flower pot and put it into the potting soil. Spray some water to make the soil surface moist. Then dig out a hole suitable for the size of the seed with chopsticks or other small wooden sticks.

Put the mango seeds in the soil with one end of the sprouts facing up and the other end facing down, and the upward part should be slightly exposed outside the soil.

Spread a thin layer of Maifan stone or other small stones, and then spray water with a watering pot for 2 ~ 3 circles to completely wet the soil and seeds.

Then transfer the potted plants to the indirect sunlight and wait for germination. Spray water once every 1-2 days.

After the first batch of leaves turn green, it will take about half a month for new buds to appear. They are also red and will turn green slowly after a period of time. And Mangosteen grows very slowly, very slowly. Maybe you wait until it is half dead. There are few leaves.
