Sunflower

Sunflower is named because the top of its young plant in the early stage of growth and the young flower disk in the middle stage will rotate with the rotation of the sun. The movement of sunflower is a typical phototropism. When the rising sun rises in the East, due to the sunlight on the east side of the green sunflower, the vigorous top young stem distributes more auxin on the west side of its backlight. The cells on this side elongate longitudinally and grow fast, resulting in the young stem bending towards the east side of the slow growth, that is, the top of the sunflower (flower plate) bends eastward in the morning. As the sun moves in the air and changes the direction of illumination, the top of the sunflower (flower plate) also changes direction. It stands upright at noon and bends westward in the afternoon. The sunflower is also moving with the sun rising in the East and setting in the West.

mimosa

Unlike animals, plants have no nervous system and muscles, and they will not feel the stimulation of the outside world. Unlike ordinary plants, Mimosa has drooping leaves and closed leaflets when touched by the outside world. This action is understood as "shy", so it is called Mimosa. This special ability of Mimosa has its certain historical roots. Its hometown is Brazil in tropical South America, where there are often strong winds and heavy rain. When the leaves droop in the storm, the handle of the leaves closes immediately to avoid the damage of the storm. This is its adaptation to changes in external environmental conditions. In addition, the movement of Mimosa can also be regarded as a way of self-defense. When an animal touches it, it closes its leaves and the animals dare not eat it again.

Water lilies

Water lily, also known as meridian lotus and water celery flower, is a perennial aquatic plant belonging to the genus water lily in the water lily family. Water lily is a precious flower in aquatic flowers. As the sun sets, the flowers of water lilies will gradually close, as if the flowers are going to sleep at night, hence the name of water lilies. Dancing grass
