florescence
Wisteria usually blooms in spring, and the flowering period is from the middle of April to the first ten days of May. When Wisteria flowers are growing, they first grow leaves, then buds in March, will bloom in April, and begin to bear fruit from May to August.
The flowers of Wisteria are very beautiful. In fact, from the appearance, it looks like Sophora japonica. There are 20-80 butterfly shaped flowers on each string, mostly purple or dark purple. After flowering, wisteria will bear fruit. The fruit is like a pod, hanging among the branches. It's very interesting. Sometimes, wisteria flowers will bloom again from late summer to early autumn.
When Wisteria has bloomed, the residual flowers should be cut off in time to avoid further consumption of nutrients.
