Breeding method of spring grass
Light and temperature
Spring grass likes light. If the light is insufficient, its leaves will be thin and weak, and the degree of curl is poor, so it will lose its ornamental. Sufficient light can meet the growth needs of spring grass, making it spiral and twisted, full of ornamental. However, in summer, you need to put up a shading net to shade, so as not to scorch the leaf tips caused by strong light. Spring grass likes a cooler environment and is afraid of heat. Generally, in winter, the temperature can be kept above 10 ℃ and can grow normally. When it is not lower than 5 ℃, it can pass the winter safely. In summer, the plant begins to dormant and the leaves will dry up. You can put it in a ventilated and dry place for summer. After entering autumn, it can grow again and can be managed normally.
soil
Spring grass likes fertile and loose soil and requires rich soil humus. Generally, rotten leaf soil or peat soil can be selected and mixed with knowledge and sand to ensure better drainage. Some bone powder can be added to the soil as base fertilizer.
Water and fertilizer management
Spring grass likes a humid growth environment. During the growth period, it is necessary to ensure that the soil is wet but there is no ponding. Ponding will lead to the bulb rot of spring grass, and attention should be paid not to lack of water, otherwise it will lead to the stagnation of spring grass plant growth and yellow leaves. It can often spray water like spring grass plants to ensure high air humidity and timely drainage in rainy season. If you apply fertilizer, you can apply rotten thin liquid fertilizer once a month during the vigorous growth period every year, which can make the plant grow vigorously. When flowering in spring, some phosphate fertilizer can be sprayed to promote flowering.
Breeding precautions of spring grass
breed
Spring grass is usually propagated by sowing. After flowering, different plant pollination can be selected to make it bear fruit. After taking out the seeds, it can be sown. It should be noted that if it is not for seed retention, spring grass can cut off the pedicel after flowering to reduce nutrient consumption.
Change Basin
Spring grass needs to change pots. The time for changing pots is generally in August every year. When changing pots, the roots need to be trimmed. When putting on pots, the bulbs can be exposed to the surface of the soil. After replanting, it can be watered and placed in a place with sufficient light for maintenance.
