Weeding podferns

After a long time of planting, the soil in the flowerpot will harden, the air permeability will become poor, the weeds will grow wantonly, and the nutrients in the flowerpot have been exhausted. Periodic fertilization of pod fern

Pod fern has tenacious vitality and strong adaptability, but this does not mean that it does not need to be fertilized. On the contrary, thin fertilizer should be applied every half a month. Excessive fertilization is easy to cause fertilizer damage of pod fern, wither or die. If fertilization is too little, the fertilization cycle should be shortened, and nitrogen fertilizer is the main fertilizer. Fertilizer can be applied once every one to two months when the growth is not vigorous in winter.

Pod fern should be watered properly

Pod fern likes shade and humidity and is not resistant to high temperature. Therefore, in summer, it should be placed in a cool place for breeding, try to avoid direct sunlight, and water it twice or three times a day. It should be noted that the watering time should be in the morning as far as possible, and avoid watering at noon. If the temperature is too high at noon, the pores of pod fern are open. Watering will damage the pores of pod fern and affect its normal growth. In winter, the amount of water can be appropriately reduced, but the main principle is to keep the soil moist.
