Strip mining

According to the local climate and other factors, it is generally better to collect the branches of red Ruimu before the buds on the branches have not fully bulged, that is, from late March to early April

Strip cutting

Strip cutting is required immediately after strip mining. Three buds need to be retained on each cuttings. Cut the upper end 15-20mm away from the upper bud and the lower end 3-5mm away from the lower bud into a horse ear shape. The length of each cutting is about 8-12cm. The best bottom diameter of cuttings is about 5-10mm, which can ensure better rooting rate

Handle

The cut strips shall be bundled in 50 pieces, and then put into a flat bottom container with 5-6cm deep clean water for hydrolysis treatment. It takes 3 days and nights. Where conditions permit, water can be drained while irrigation is carried out. If conditions do not permit, water can be changed once a day in the morning and evening. Then place the hydrolyzed cuttings in the container, and then pour ABT1 ∶ 500000 solution into the container, with a depth of about 3-5cm. The soaking time depends on the water temperature. When the water temperature is below 8 ℃, it needs to be soaked for about 6-8 hours, and when the water temperature is above 8 ℃, it needs to be soaked for 3-4 hours

Root accelerating

Choose a shady flat ground, spread about 6-8 cm thick wet sand, and invert the cuttings at an oblique angle of 75 degrees. Then cover it with a layer of wet sand, with a thickness of about 5-6 cm. And it needs to be watered 2-3 times a day. Pay attention to the need to use water that has been exposed to the sun. It can be taken out for cutting after about 20-30 days< span>
