2. Dahlia. The plant of dahlia is much higher, usually up to 1.5m to 2m, and it is relatively strong. Its pedicel is relatively long, usually drooping, with a width of 6cm to 12cm. The flower colors are usually white, red and purple. It has more flower shapes and is more abundant than dahlia. Dahlia blooms from June to September and is harvested from September to October

1. Requirements for lighting conditions

(1) Xiaolihua likes plenty of sunshine and is suitable for growing in a mild and cool climate

(2) Dahlia likes a semi shady environment. If the sun is too strong, it will seriously affect its flowering. Especially when the plants and seedlings are relatively small, it must not be exposed to strong light, but the sun exposure time needs to reach 10 to 12 hours

2. Requirements for temperature conditions

(1) Xiaolihua likes a colder climate and can't withstand the hot environment, so it grows very slowly in summer. In addition, it can't resist frost. If the temperature is less than 10 degrees Celsius, it will stop growing. The most suitable temperature is 15 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees Celsius

(2) Dahlia has a cool climate. It blooms best in late September, but it is not frost resistant. Its stems and leaves will wither immediately after frost. The growth period does not require high temperature. It can grow from 8 ℃ to 35 ℃

3. Requirements for moisture

(1) When potting, we must pay attention not to ponding, otherwise the root is particularly easy to rot. the requirement of the pot soil is not too dry or too wet. When flowering, we should water more in summer and less in spring and autumn

(2) Dahlia is neither resistant to drought nor waterlogging. It needs to pour the basin for drainage in continuous rainy days
