1、 Breeding method
1. Basin soil selection
If it is a domestic yellow horned orchid, the basin soil should be loose and breathable as much as possible, and it is best to contain rich humus. Then select a well ventilated tile basin, purple sand basin or a plastic basin with many small holes at the bottom, put its soil in, and the basin soil is ready p>
2. Timely change Basin
When changing pots, we should correctly select the size of the pot according to its crown and age, so that it can grow vigorously. When changing the basin, it is generally carried out when the basin soil is slightly dry. First, slowly turn the basin upside down, hold the basin with one hand and grasp its plant with the other hand, then take it out and put it into the new basin p>
3. Suitable breeding location
From March to April every year, we can move it outdoors to receive sunlight. When the temperature is high in summer, put up a proper shed for shade, so that it can not only shine on the morning sun, but also avoid the afternoon sun to prevent sunburn p>
4. Watering
It is afraid of being wet and not very dry, so it should be watered properly at ordinary times. When watering each time, it should be watered thoroughly. As long as the basin soil is wet, it can't be watered every day. In addition, after each rain, the accumulated water in the basin shall be drained in time to prevent rotten roots p>
5. Suitable temperature
It is afraid of cold, so if you don't grow in the south, you should move it indoors for maintenance in winter. The temperature should be kept above 5 degrees. If it is high in summer, you should cool it in time so that it can grow normally p>
6. Suitable light
It likes sunshine very much. In summer, we can put it in the shade, lift the curtain every morning, let it accept the sun before 9 o'clock, and then cover the curtain. If you move it indoors, put it in a place with more sunshine p>
2、 Precautions
When raising it, we will always encounter some diseases and insect pests, so we should try our best to ventilate it, control the amount of watering and loosen the soil appropriately, so as to prevent diseases. If pests occur accidentally, they should be sprayed with medicine in time to curb the pests as soon as possible p>
