Flowering period

Form

Its flowers and leaves are born at the same time. When the flowers are in full bloom, its leaves are also fully extended. Flowers belong to terminal racemes, and each node will have 1 to 3 flowers blooming

Although the color of flowers is red, they are mostly dark red. The flower length is about 3 cm to 5 cm, with a slight drooping feeling. When all the flowers are in full bloom, it can be said that the flowers are numerous and colorful. Coupled with its unique cockscomb flower type, it has high ornamental value

Flowering environment

Sunshine: although it lives in a semi shady environment, it must ensure sufficient sunshine in order for it to bloom better

Temperature: it can bear the high temperature in summer, but it can't bear the temperature below 4 degrees in winter. Therefore, if it is cultivated in the north, it must be placed in a warmer place near the flowering period

Nutrients: fertilizer should be applied once in spring to ensure sufficient nutrients during flowering

Water: it is a drought tolerant plant with less demand for water, so there must be no ponding when watering or keep the plant in a humid state for a long time
