1、 Breeding method
1. Soil
Loose and breathable soil should be used to raise Dendrobium. Peat moss and charcoal can be mixed as its culture soil. At the same time, you can put some tiles on the bottom of the basin, which will make its roots develop better p>
2. Humidity
Dendrobium prefers a humid environment. When it is particularly hot, it needs to sprinkle some water around it. In this way, the air humidity will increase, and in rainy days, be careful not to let water accumulate in the basin p>
3. Temperature
It likes to be warm. It's best to keep the temperature at 15-28 ℃ at ordinary times. The temperature difference between day and night is relatively large, because if the temperature difference is very small, its growth and flowering will be affected p>
4. Illumination
It prefers a semi shady environment. It should be shaded in spring and summer, and it needs to be covered more, about 60% - 70%. But in winter, we still need to give it more light, which can not be covered. If we want to cover it, it can only cover 20% - 30% p>
5. Fertilization
Fertilize it in the second year. Apply it twice a year. For the first time in April, you can use pig hair and bean dregs. After fermentation, apply it to the roots to help the buds grow better. The second time was in November, using the same method of fertilization p>
2、 Precautions
1. Water. More water should be poured in spring and summer, and less after September p>
2. Trim. Pay attention to observation at ordinary times and cut off old branches, sick and weak branches and too dense branches in time p>
3. Change the basin. It will be replaced in two or three years to give it better growth conditions p>
