1、 Soil
Gardenia cultivation requires weak acid soil with good air permeability and pH between 5-6. Rotten leaf soil and peat soil can be mixed with half of the garden soil as its culture soil p>
2、 Illumination
Sufficient sunshine is a necessary condition for the growth of Gardenia. If there is no light for a long time, its flower branches will be very thin and difficult to bloom. In addition to the need for proper shade in summer, it is no problem to raise it directly in the sun in other seasons p>
3、 Moisture
Gardenia like wet growth conditions. Keep the basin soil moist except in winter. When the air is dry in summer, spray some water on its leaves with a watering can, or put a basin of clean water next to its flowerpot to increase the air humidity p>
4、 Temperature
Gardenia is suitable for growing in the environment of 20-28 ℃. Certain measures are needed to cool it when the temperature is too high in summer. It should be kept at 5-12 ℃ in winter, which can not be too low, otherwise it will be frozen and can not be too high, otherwise it will break its dormancy p>
5、 Precautions
1. Acid soil. Usually when watering, you can add one or two drops of vinegar to the water, which can reduce the pH of the soil and make Gardenia grow better p>
2. Timely fertilization. Gardenia is more like fertilizer, in its growth period to fertilize it, thin fertilizer and frequent application. Apply some phosphate fertilizer before flowering to help it bloom better p>
