1、 Breeding environment

1. Flower soil. If you want to raise a fortune tree well, you need to use slightly acidic flower soil with soft and breathable, rich nutrition and good drainage. You must not use alkaline flower soil

2. Temperature. The temperature should be maintained above 20 ℃ at ordinary times and not lower than 5 ℃ in winter

3. Light. If it is cultivated indoors, try to avoid direct sunlight, otherwise it will be sunburned. If it is cultivated outdoors, it can accept full sunshine, but pay attention to proper shade in summer

4. Moisture. Fortune tree is very afraid of ponding. Usually, it should wait until the flower soil is dry before watering. When watering, it should also be watered less. Don't pour too much, resulting in ponding in the flower soil

2、 Breeding method

1. Sow and reproduce. When the fruit of the fortune tree is ripe, use tools to cut the seed coat, and then take out the seeds and sow them as you pick them. When sowing, you can use plain sand to spread the seeds evenly on the soil surface, and pay attention to maintaining a certain seed spacing of about 10 cm. Then cover it with a thin layer of sand, 3-4cm thick. Finally, pour it through with water and put it in a semi shady place at about 25 ℃, and it will sprout after 7-10 days

2. Cutting propagation. Cut healthy and disease-free branches from adult plants, insert them into flower soil, and then water them. Then cover it with a layer of thermal insulation film, and it will germinate in half a month

3、 Common diseases and insect pests

1. Root rot. If the roots of fortune tree are soft and rotten, you may get the disease. We need to take it out of the basin, cut off the rotten black roots, apply medicine and disinfect it, and then dry it, and then plant it into a new flower soil free of bacteria

2. Scale insects. If the number of scale insects is small, you can remove them by hand or brush them off with an abandoned toothbrush, then cut off the sick leaves and spray medicine for disinfection; If the number of scale insects is large, it is necessary to directly spray insecticide to kill insects

3. Leaf blight. If the leaves of fortune tree are dry, you may have this disease. We need to fertilize the leaves scientifically, and then we need to remove the diseases in time
