Breeding Rieger Begonia needs to use soil with good drainage. During family breeding, coconut bran and vermiculite can be mixed as its culture soil, or peat soil and perlite can be mixed in the proportion of 4:1 to prepare its culture soil

2. Temperature

The optimum growth temperature of Rieger Begonia is 18-22 ℃. It is not resistant to high temperature and the temperature cannot exceed 28 ℃, so it is best to put it in an indoor air-conditioned room in summer. It is also not resistant to low temperature, and the temperature cannot be lower than 15 ℃, so it is best to put it in a heated room in winter

3. Illumination

It prefers semi shaded growth conditions. In summer, you need to use a shading plate to shade it to prevent it from being sunburned by strong light. It just blooms in winter. It needs to be placed in a place with good lighting conditions such as the balcony to help it bloom

4. Fertilization

Raising it requires regular fertilization. Fertilizing seedlings should be based on nitrogen fertilizer, which can make them grow branches and leaves faster. Before flowering, it is necessary to increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, so as to make its flowers brighter and more colorful
