2. Water content: try to water 2-3 times a week in spring and autumn, and water every day in summer. Watering is best carried out in the morning or evening. Just keep the soil moist. There should be no excess water in the basin soil. In addition, watering should be thorough, otherwise the root system can not absorb water

3. Fertilization: in its vigorous growing season, apply nitrogen fertilizer every half a month. Before flowering, apply less nitrogen fertilizer and more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. When flowering, it needs a lot of nutrients. We should apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer as much as possible

4. Pruning: during the growth of jasmine, the diseased branches and leaves, dead branches and leaves need to be cut off, and the excessively long branches should also be properly cut short. After the flowering period, the residual flowers should be removed in time, otherwise more nutrition will be consumed

2、 Breeding method

1. Layering propagation: cut off the epidermis of the better growing branches 15cm away from the top, expose the stems, bury the wound in the soil, fix it and water it properly. It will take about a month to take root

2. Cutting propagation: cut branches with a length of 10cm, remove the basal leaves, apply some rooting powder on the wound, insert them in the matrix and pour water through. If the temperature is low, plastic film can be used to keep warm and take root in about 40 days
