The scape of iris dentate is pulled out from the middle of the leaf, slightly flat or close to cylindrical. There will be multiple non small sterile bracts below the inflorescence, and the raceme is long, about 7-18 cm. The bracts are nearly oblong ovate, with missing teeth at the edge, white green pedicel, wide ovate middle sepal, blunt apex, ovate side sepals, narrower than middle sepals.
