Evening jasmine is a spike, growing at the top. Each bract contains two flowers. The bracts are green, the flowers are milky white, fragrant, about 3.5-7 cm long, the perianth tube is about 2.5-4.5 cm long, the base is slightly curved, and the perianth and lobes are similar in shape, both of which are oblong lanceolate, about 1.2-2 cm long. Stamens grow in perianth tube, with slender style and 3-lobed stigma. The flowering period is from July to September
