The opening time of Osmanthus fragrans has a great relationship with the planting area, and it will not bloom before a certain flowering age. Usually in Shanghai, Anhui and Jiangsu, Osmanthus fragrans mostly opens in October, Beijing, Hebei and other regions will open in September, while the northeast region opens a little earlier and has basically blossomed in August

2、 What if it doesn't bloom

1. Ensure the light: if you want osmanthus to bloom, you should change the maintenance method. You need to let it see about 10 hours of sunshine every day, otherwise it will hinder the growth of flower buds

2. Proper fertilization: a small amount of nitrogen fertilizer should be applied. Too much nitrogen fertilizer will cause overgrowth, few flowers or even no flowers. More phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be applied to it to help it bloom
