1、 Leaf difference

The leaves of citrus are compound leaves, and the wing leaves are usually very narrow. The leaves are lanceolate, broad oval or oval. The sizes of the leaves are different, and the top is usually notched. The upper half of the leaf edge has blunt or round cracked teeth, rarely complete

The leaves of oranges are thick and papery, the wing leaves are obovate oval, and the leaves are oval or lanceolate. The large ones are about 8 cm long and 4 cm wide, and the small ones are about 2.5 cm long and 1 cm wide. The top of the leaf is gradually narrow and sharp.  

2、 Flower difference

Citrus flowers are solitary or clustered with 2 to 3 flowers, and the petals are usually 1.5 cm long

Orange flowers are solitary and leaf axils, drooping, short pedicels, white petals, sometimes lavender on the back of petals, and grow about 1 to 1.3 cm

3、 Fruit difference

Citrus fruits are usually oblate or nearly spherical, with thin and smooth pericarp. Some pericarps are thick and rough, and the color is light yellow, dark red or vermilion. The fruit has 7 to 14 pulp sacs, and the pulp is sour or sweet

The orange fruit is oblate or pear shaped, with a large diameter of 8 cm and a small diameter of about 4 cm. The top of the fruit has a circular bulge, with rough and thick skin and light yellow color
