1、 Illumination
When breeding, it needs to be placed in the semi shade to avoid direct sunlight. Plants of varieties such as Phnom Penh, silver edge and Jinxin will have flowers and leaves degraded under strong light. Therefore, in indoor maintenance, it should be placed in an environment with bright light and no direct sunlight p>
2、 Soil
The root of Chlorophytum is fleshy, so its drought tolerance is quite strong. The selected soil needs the kind of loose, breathable and well drained loam p>
3、 Watering
When watering, we should master the principle of no drying, no watering and thorough watering. Too frequent watering will cause ponding in the basin soil, resulting in dry tip, scorched edge and even yellow leaves p>
4、 Fertilization
During the maintenance of Chlorophytum, the requirement for fertilizer is not too strong. In the growth period, the application of thin liquid fertilizer every 10 to 15 days can meet its demand p>
5、 Temperature
The suitable temperature for the growth of Chlorophytum is between 15 and 35 degrees. If the temperature is above 5 degrees, it can overwinter normally. If the temperature is too low, the plant will suffer. For example, the leaves below 5 degrees may be injured, and the roots below zero degrees will be injured p>
6、 Change Basin
In the process of maintenance, it is generally necessary to change the pot once a year or two, otherwise the root system will grow too large, resulting in the reduction of the amount of pot soil in the flower pot, and the nutrients can not meet its growth needs. When changing pots, it is more appropriate in early spring. Remove the garden soil, remove some dead and rotten old roots, replace them with new soil and put them in a cool place for recovery p>
7、 Precautions
Pay attention to direct sunlight on the surface and sufficient air humidity. If the humidity is not enough, there will be a dry tip phenomenon. At this time, more watering will further aggravate this problem p>
