1、 Terrestrial orchid
Terrestrial orchids are commonly cultivated at home. They are divided into the following categories:
1. Chunlan: it is one of the varieties with the longest cultivation history in China. It blooms from February to March. It is mostly fragrant and its color changes greatly. Song Mei, Wan Zi, Lao Shiyuan, Wang Zi and so on are all its classifications p>
2. Cymbidium: it is widely distributed, with thick and long roots and mostly yellow green or emerald flowers. Dayipin, fresh green and duanhuimei are all its varieties p>
3. Jianlan: also known as sijilan, it has strong and straight stems, green leaves, many flowers and strong fragrance. Flowers can be seen from May to December. It contains many traditional famous products, which are generally divided into two categories: colorful heart and plain heart p>
4. Moran: it is also called baosui orchid. Its leaves are dark green and shiny. The flowers have a variety of colors, and the flowering period is from January to March p>
5. Hanlan: the flowers are thin and grow longer. The flowering period is from October to December p>
2、 Epiphytic orchid
This kind of plant is semi parasitic and grows on other plants, also known as tropical orchid, which is customarily called orchid. Phalaenopsis, Dendrobium and Oncidium all belong to this category p>
3、 Saprophytic orchid
This kind grows on the ground, but there are no green leaves. The scape is relatively upright and appears purplish red. The flowering period is from June to August p>
