1、 Cutting time
The cutting time of Gardenia jasminoides is also different in different regions. The southern region is relatively warm, so it is recommended to carry out it from March to October. Compared with the south, the north is relatively cold, preferably from May to June. Generally speaking, it is OK to choose the time after the temperature rises in spring, such as early summer p>
2、 Cutting method
1. Branch selection: select the lignified branches in good growth state, and the annual branches are the best. Such branches are easier to take root. If it is a new or too old branch, it is difficult to live in cutting p>
2. Disinfection: after cutting from the mother plant, it needs to be placed in a cool and ventilated place to dry the position of the incision, or use carbendazim for disinfection. If it is cut directly without treatment, it is easy to blacken and rot p>
3. Treatment: keep 2-3 top leaves on the branches, and cut off the rest. Prepare the sterilized clean substrate. If it is hydroponic, prepare clean containers and clean water p>
4. Cutting: insert the treated branches into the soil or water. If it is cultivated in soil, it should be kept slightly wet. If it is cultivated in water, it should be changed with water frequently to prevent the branches from rotting p>
