1、 Grafting time
It has no too many restrictions on the time of grafting. It is generally from March to may in spring or from October to November in autumn. The climate in these two stages is relatively mild and suitable. There are not too many fluctuations in the climate, which is more conducive to combined growth, and it is easier to recover after grafting. The climate in summer is hot and dry, which is easy to breed bacteria, and the water will evaporate too fast under the hot sun. The temperature in winter is very cold and the growth speed is relatively slow. If grafting is carried out at this time, it is not good for the recovery of plants p>
2、 Grafting method
1. Prepare a cactus with a diameter of no less than 5cm or a height of more than 20cm as rootstock, which is in good growth condition and free from diseases and pests, which is helpful for the growth in the later stage p>
2. Select a robust plant and cut the robust branches from the top, as long as the top 2-4 nodes are enough, which does not need to be too long p>
3. Cut a wedge from the top of the rootstock and a mouth from the bottom of the scion. Insert the scion into it with your hand and combine it closely. In order to prevent the scion from sliding out from the inside, you can pull out the cactus thorn and fix it p>
