1、 Time
You can change the pots of crab claw orchid from March to June after the flowering period. Do not change the pots during the flowering period, which will affect the normal flowering of the plant. Try to change the basin on a cloudy day. If it's rainy, you'd better move indoors to change it p>
2、 Method
1. Remove the pot: carefully dig out the crab claw from the flower pot, but do not damage its root system. Shake off about 1 / 3 of the old soil on the root. After retaining part of the old soil, it can be better restored after changing the basin p>
2. Root pruning: use tools to comb the tangled roots and trim the unhealthy bad roots and dead roots, but do not damage its healthy roots p>
3. Potting: plant it in a flowerpot after pruning, but don't bury it too deep. Fill about 2 / 3 of the pot with soil, then put the plants into the pot soil, and finally bury the roots with soil p>
3、 Maintenance
After changing the pot, you don't need to water it immediately. If the soil is slightly dry, it will help the plant stretch and recover better. Generally, water can be supplied properly only after maintenance for a week. Don't let it see the sun immediately. You can give it proper astigmatism p>
