1、 Cutting time
Chinese rose flower cuttings are suitable for spring and autumn. Spring is mostly in April and may, while autumn falls in September and October. High temperature in summer will lead to non survival, and cutting indoors in winter is also OK p>
2、 Basin soil preparation
Suitable basin soil can provide a better growth environment for branches. It is recommended that garden soil, rotten leaf soil and rice husk ash be mixed in a certain proportion as culture soil, which can provide nutrients for the growth of cuttings. Do not add base fertilizer to the pot soil, and it is not suitable to apply fertilizer after cutting. The fertilizer will damage the branches p>
3、 Cutting branches
Select about 10cm thick branches with leaf buds. The bottom should be cut obliquely, and the middle and lower leaves should be removed, leaving only the two compound leaves on the top, so as to avoid water transpiration. Applying rooting water or willow juice at the bottom of the branch can help the branch take root. Before cutting, first poke a hole in the basin soil with chopsticks, and then insert the cuttings into the soil 5cm p>
4、 Bagging Moisturizing
Cover the branches with plastic bags after cutting, but do not tie the mouth. This can effectively moisturize the cuttings. Take it off at night for ventilation and cover it in the morning. Bagging takes about 40 days, during which the soil should be kept moist, but there should be no ponding. All watering should not be too much. It can be thoroughly watered when the soil is slightly dry p>
