1、 Can cutting be done in winter

Under normal circumstances, cutting is not allowed in winter, because the temperature is very low at this time, and it takes root very slowly after cutting. However, if the temperature can be well adjusted and keep warm, cutting can be carried out. If the cutting environment is too cold, the plant will sleep and it is difficult to grow after cutting. The most suitable time for cutting is from April to may, when the temperature is suitable and is more conducive to its rooting

2、 Winter cutting method

1. Pruning: cut a branch from the mother plant with 1-2 leaves on it. The cut branches should grow vigorously enough. If they are too thin, they will take a long time to take root

2. Treatment: place it in a non humid place and dry the incision. It's best to detoxify a branch. You can soak the branch in carbendazim solution for 10 minutes to help it take root

3. Cutting: the treated cuttings should be carefully inserted into the soil, so as not to damage the bottom of the branch and affect its rooting. After cutting, it should be noted that the minimum temperature should be kept at 15 ℃
