1、 Time requirements
Time selection is very important. It is best to choose in summer, which is the time period with high humidity. There is no need to spray too much water, which is just conducive to cutting and rooting. Other times are OK, but the temperature must be guaranteed. In cold winter, it should be carried out indoors p>
2、 Cutting object
1. Branches: the branches should be cut from the plants in good growth condition and be as strong and full as possible. The upper leaves can be retained and the lower leaves can be removed, with a length of about 5cm. In this way, it will not cause decay and is conducive to rooting in the later stage p>
2. Leaves: cut dark green leaves, which should be full in growth state, preferably with petioles, about 1-2cm. After the leaves are taken off, put them in a cool place to dry, and keep the incision dry p>
3、 Preparation of matrix
You can choose the matrix with good ventilation and drainage, so that water will not accumulate. You can use pure vermiculite or perlite, which should be disinfected before use p>
4、 Cutting
Insert the branches into the prepared sand bed, or put the leaves flat on it, spray water on it to keep it moist, and ensure the surrounding temperature and humidity. It can take root in a few weeks and can be put into a pot when it grows to a few leaves p>
