1、 Flower induction method

1. Temperature: the temperature must be controlled in a suitable range when the crab claw orchid blooms, preferably around 15-22 ℃. It needs to be adjusted in time when the temperature is low or high. If the temperature is too high, its growth speed will slow down and flowering will be difficult, while too low temperature will reduce the number of flowers

2. Nutrient: normal flowering needs a lot of nutrient support, so if you want to promote flowering, you need to apply more fertilizer. When it is budding, the plant should be sprayed with some potassium dihydrogen phosphate every week

3. Light: it is difficult for it to bloom when it is raised in a dark place. Therefore, it needs to receive light for about 5 hours every day during flower induction to ensure that the plant receives enough light before it can bloom normally

2、 Flowering duration

Under normal circumstances, its flowering period will last for three months. It usually blooms from October in autumn and winter, and will bloom almost until February in the next spring. If the temperature is controlled within a reasonable range and the maintenance method of flowering period is mastered, its flowering period may be extended to half a year or longer
