1、 Cutting time
If you want to cut bayberry, it's best to set the time between April and June. Because this time is when its metabolism is relatively vigorous. Therefore, it is easier to grow roots after cutting into the soil. Moreover, the climate during this period is also relatively mild, which is very good for the survival and growth of cuttings p>
2、 Cutting method
1. Prepare cuttings: cut off a section of branches that grow in good condition in that year from healthy adult plants, and remove the leaves in the lower part. Then cut its bottom obliquely, put it in disinfectant for sterilization, and then take it out to dry p>
2. Prepare flower soil: when cutting, be sure to use loose soil, so it is easier to make it take root. It is recommended to use rotten leaf soil, river sand and vermiculite to prepare its flower soil p>
3. Cutting: put the flower soil into a seedling container with appropriate depth, and then insert the dried cuttings into the soil. Pay attention to control the depth of soil, and let half of the cuttings enter the soil p>
4. Later maintenance: transfer the inserted cuttings to a ventilated and warm position, and pour water once. After that, add water every 2-3 days and wait for it to take root p>
